Crossing Guard (Race 6) has taken over as favourite at $3 having firmed up a full point in early betting. He may have found the mile a touch short at his last two starts but steps back out to a staying trip and has good statistics at both the course and the distance.

Latin Boy (Race 8) was second favourite early on but now heads betting at $4 having shortened 80 cents. He has performed well in two career runs, running third on debut before a close fourth last start, and should be ready to take another step forward with the rise in distance.
