The Money Trail – Swan Hill, September 23

Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Friday’s meeting at Swan Hill.

Party (Race 3) is a clear cut favourite at $2.15 having shortened about three quarters of a point in early betting. The Sepoy filly in on debut for Ciaron Maher and although she hasn’t officially trialled the market push suggests she is expected to go close.

Gold Warrior (Race 4) is challenging for favouritism at $4.40 having been backed in more than two and a half points. The colt hasn’t placed in two runs at shorter trip but should be ready to improve at his first attempt at the mile.

Tia Dalma (Race 5) remains at each way value at $5.50 having firmed about two full points this morning. The mare has been in need of her two runs this time in and the support suggests she is ready to peak third up.
