Dawn Appraoch maintained his unbeaten record in Monday's Listed Rochestown Stakes at Naas to become the first stakes winner for his Derby winning sire New Approach.
Dawn Approach, like his sire trained by Jim Bolger, won the first two-year-old race of the European season at the Curragh in March and won his second race at Naas last month.
He is out of the Phone Trick mare Hymn Of The Dawn and is a half-brother to dual winner Comadoir.
New Approach, by Galileo, was crowned joint-world champion in 2008 after winning the Derby and the Irish and Newmarket Champion Stakes.
He was also runner-up in both the Newmarket and Irish 2000 Guineas and was champion European juvenile at two.
New Approach is a close relation to the Galileo's Oaks winner Was as she is out of his half-sister Alluring Park.
New Approach has had only six runners in Europe to date.
