Coolmore Stud's Ten Sovereigns (No Nay Never) sired his first winner on Tuesday evening when the Aidan O'Brien-trained Brighter (2 f ex Tara's Force by Acclamation) won on debut over five furlongs at Dundalk.

Under Ryan Moore, Brighter was prominent throughout and stayed on strongly in the closing stages to hold off Vanity Pays (Kodiac), scoring by a head.

Bred by Framont Limited and raced by Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Westerberg, Brighter was bought for €110,000 at last year's Arqana October Yearling Sale. She is out of the Acclamation (Royal Applause) mare Tara's Force, making her a half-sister to stakes winning filly Charm Appeal (Canford Cliffs).

Winner of the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes (6f) as a juvenile in 2018 and the Group 1 July Cup (6f) the following year, Ten Sovereigns is standing for a fee of €17,500 for a second consecutive year. He stood for €25,000 during his first season at stud in 2020.
