Younger brother to multiple Stakes performers to debut on Wednesday.
The latest member of a family that has had an impact from Golden Slippers through to Oaks and Derbies will debut at Canterbury on Wednesday.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Les Vampires will contest the $55,000 Furphy Handicap (1200m) that kicks off the card.
The daughter of Pierro is the 10th foal from the Rock Of Gibraltar mare Musidora, whose best product to date is Tulip, a dual Group 3 winner who ran third in the 2017 Golden Slipper won by She Will Reign.
Tulip, who is also by Pierro, later in 2017 ran fifth in the inaugural edition of The Everest.
She is one of several Stakes performers from Musidora, who also produced Sacred Eye, a daughter of High Chaparral who won the Group 3 Norman Robinson Stakes (2000m) in 2015.
Sikorsky, a son of Pierro who Musidora had the year after Tulip, ran third in the 2018 edition of that race before a fourth placing in the Group 1 Victoria Derby (2500m).
Sacred Eye also finished fourth in the Group 1 Australasian Oaks (2000m).
Waterhouse and Bott bought Les Vampires in partnership with Kestrel Bloodstock for $200,000 at the 2022 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
Les Vampires has the services of Adam Hyeronimus, who was aboard for the colt's two decisive trial wins on June 30 and July 14, with the pair to jump from the inside barrier in the field of 10.
