Victorian farm purchases two high-priced lots on Inglis Digital.
Not content with its record-breaking haul at the National Broodmare Sale, Yulong has added another two Group-winning mares to its ever-growing broodmare band.
The Victorian farm paid more than $1.5 million for Daisies and Literary Magnate, who were offered as part of the Inglis June (Late) Online Sale.
Daisies, a daughter of Sebring and the Snitzel mare Tigress Lily who won a Group 2 Stocks Stakes and Group 3 Ethereal Stakes and Group 3 Alexandra Stakes, sold for $920,000.
Literary Magnate, a daughter of Written Tycoon, won the Group 3 Northwood Plume Stakes last spring and was sold for $640,000.
The two four-year-olds were both sold via Sheamus Mills Bloodstock on behalf of owners, who bought Daisies for $250,000 and Literary Magnate for $135,000 as yearlings.
The Mills pair were among the top three lots of a sale that also saw More Than Ready mare More Aspen sell to Ultra Thoroughbreds for $720,000.
The 12-year-old's page underwent a serious upgrade earlier this month when her colt by Kingman, the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained King Colorado, won the Group 1 J J Atkins at Eagle Farm.
More Aspen was sold in-foal to Western Australian stallion Maschino.
Not A Single Doubt mare Not Guilty sold to Hunter Valley Bloodstock for $480,000, Group 2 winner Silent Sovereign sell to Grandlodge for $280,000 and four-year-old Capitalist gelding Clemenceau, a winner of five of 13 starts, go to Gangemi Thoroughbreds for $200,000.
