The only Snitzel weanling to be offered this year and a mare in-foal to Kingman are among the headline lots of this year's Great Southern Sale.

Inglis on Monday released the catalogue for the offering, which will be held at Oaklands Junction in Melbourne on June 9 and 10.

The Snitzel colt, who will be offered by Noorilim Park at Lot 26, is from the I Am Invincible mare Queen Of The Air, a three-quarter sister to Oohood who also counts Not A Single Doubt and King's Legacy as part of the family tree.

He is one of 377 weanlings to be offered, while Shadow Hill's British mare Marjoram is one of 65 mares to be offered during the broodmare section of the sale.

A daughter of Kodiac and the Sellkirk mare Marywell, Marjoram is a half-sister to Sydney Cup winner Grand Marshal who is in-foal to boom stallion Kingman.

"This year's catalogue has all the right ingredients for buyers to enjoy success, no matter what their end goal is,'' Inglis' Victorian bloodstock manager James Price said.

"There is an insatiable appetite for quality stock and to that end, I think there is plenty in the catalogue for buyers to be excited about, particularly amongst the weanlings, with the catalogue featuring the only Snitzel weanling colt to be offered at public auction this year.

"There have been some fantastic stories from the sale in recent years and some life changing results, so we are looking forward to another competitive renewal of the sale.''

Montefilia, Behemoth, Sopressa, Extra Brut, Gytrash, On The Bubbles and Lunar Fox are among recent graduates of the sale that this year realised some outstanding pinhook results including a $360,000 buy who sold for $900,000 as a yearling.
