Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Saturday’s meeting at Rosehill.

Siege Of Quebec (Race 1) is challenging for favouritism at $3.10 having firmed 70 cents since markets opened. The blueblood fought hard to win on debut at the provincials and looks to have good upside.

Arbeitsam (Race 4) opened as a joint favourite but is now on his own on the top line of betting at $4.20 having firmed a point. He was strong in victory at Warwick Farm last start and may be suited by the step up in trip.

Faith's Encore (Race 5) has taken over as the favourite $4.80 after tightening up three points. The filly resumes as a previous fresh winner and at her only start last campaign ran fourth in a Listed race.

It's So Obvious (Race 9) could be worth an each way ticket at $5 having shortened four points since betting commenced. The mare steps up off a provincial maiden win when resuming but did it in good style and looks to have upside.
