The Money Trail – Bendigo, June 21

Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Wednesday’s meeting at Bendigo.

Waldenberg (Race 2) opened well into each way odds but has halved her initial price into $4 and at that quote is now the favourite. She was unplaced at both runs at her maiden campaign but the market push suggests she has improved plenty this time around.

St Swithuns (Race 7) could be worth an each way ticket at $5 having firmed two points early on. The mare is in good form having placed at Sandown last start and winning at Pakenham first up so looks competitive in this field again.

Curvature (Race 8) is a well supported favourite at $2.05 having firmed almost two dollars since markets opened. The colt was fourth in a high quality Moonee Valley race at his only run of last campaign and a similar first up effort sees him hard to beat.
