Diminutive galloper Flax made a welcome return to the winner’s circle when he took out the Group 2 $300,000 Chairman’s Trophy over 1800m on Sunday.

South African-bred galloper Lizarre did his chances of gaining a start in next month’s International Group 1 $3 million Singapore Airlines International Cup over 2000m no harm with his victory in the Group 3 $150,000 Admiralty Classic Stakes over 1600m on Sunday.

The $1 million Singapore Golden Horseshoe Series kicks off with the first leg of the six-race series this Friday, 8 March with the running of the “Magic Millions Rocket Man Stakes” at the Singapore Racecourse.
