Tottenham will not sell Harry Kane to a rival Premier League club this summer, according to Sky Sports.

Kane has 12 months remaining on his existing deal at the club, and he could walk away as a free agent next July.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are interested in the England striker and are understood to have made two formal offers. Sky in Germany have reported that Bayern Munich have submitted a second bid for Kane worth £68m, plus add-ons.

That is nowhere near the valuation that Spurs have put on their 213-goal striker. Talks are said to be ongoing between the clubs, but the huge difference in valuation is a huge stumbling block.

Kane has an open mind over his future, according to Sky Sports. The 29-year-old could stay in north London, but he would also be open to formally speaking with the German champions should Spurs accept an offer.

Manchester United were also believed to be interested in Kane, but per the source, Spurs and Daniel Levy are keen to make sure that will not happen.

New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is set to speak with Kane when he returns to pre-season training on Wednesday.

Postecoglou said: "I don't think it is my role to sit there and sort of treat people in a manner because of their circumstances. I am big on treating everyone the same.

"Harry is already part of the history of this club and I want him involved here. My conversation with him will be about how we can make this club successful and that is what he wants as well.

"I doubt it will be defining in the manner people think. I want to introduce myself to Harry, give him my vision, get an understanding from him over what his vision is and try be successful."
