Corey Brown is hopeful his brief return to Australian racing will reap rewards as the now Singapore-based hoop partners My Quest For Peace in Saturday's Group 1 Caulfield Cup.

Despite riding in four races at Singapore's Kranji racecourse the night before, Brown is excited to be back home to ride the Galileo stallion in the Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m).

"I know the horse is more than capable of doing it (winning)," Corey Brown told Sky Sports Racing.

"I'm just happy to get back home and to be riding him."

Despite underwhelming results leading up to the Group 1 race, Brown believes that the five-year-old can defy market opinion.

"I watched one of his runs [Underwood] and the tempo didn't suit his style of racing," Brown said.

"[Connections] have said he's been in good form in his work."

My Quest For Peace has drawn barrier four for the $2,500,000 BMW Caufield Cup (2400m) and Brown believes that the OTI-raced stayer can perform well.

"From the barrier I should be able to be where I want," Brown said.

"He shouldn't be too far away, hopefully he runs good."

Stablemate Manighar will also run the Group 1 race and has drawn barrier 11 with Luke Nolen set to ride the Linamix gelding.

Brown is also set to ride Le Rasoir in the Group 3 Jacob Park Thoroughbreds Norman Robinson Stakes (2000m) and Durnford in the Group 3 David Jones Cup (2000m).

He will then return to Singapore where he boasts a strong book of rides at Kranji on Sunday evening.
