Hills Stakes winner Lamasery and the Gai Waterhouse trained Glencadam Gold currently head the market for this Saturday's $400,000 Metropolitan Handicap after Wednesday morning's barrier draw.
Glencadom Gold has drawn to receive all the favours in gate five as he aims to keep his unbeaten record in Australia intact en-route to a possible tilt at this year's Caulfield Cup. Peter Robl will steer Lamasery from the rails draw and currently remains the $4.20 favourite with TAB Sportsbet.
Chris Waller will saddle up four runners for the Group 1 feature with both Kelinni and Stout Hearted both drawing well whilst last year's winner The Verminator drawing poorly in barrier eleven. Permit will sit just outside current favourite Lamasery in barrier two as he attempts to win his first race since taking out the Group 2 Chairman's Quality in April this year.
