All Too Hard, a half-brother to Black Cavair, is posied to make his Sydney debut in the Pago Pago Stakes at Rosehill.
Unbeaten All Too Hard will be an acceptor for Saturday's Rosehill meeting but a call on a Golden Slipper start remains on hold.
Co-trainer Michael Hawkes said All Too Hard, a half-brother to wonder mare Black Caviar who is unbeaten in two Melbourne starts, would contest the Pago Pago Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill.
The Pago Pago is one of the final lead-up races to the Golden Slipper, the $3.5 million race in which All Too Hard is $6.50 second favourite behind Samaready ($2.50).
Asked about a Golden Slipper start, Hawkes told TVN: "It's well stated that we'll wait and see how he pulls up and go forward from there.
"Slipper acceptances are on Tuesday and there's a lot of water (to flow under the bridge) between now and then."
All Too Hard is owned by Nathan Tinkler, the mining magnate who has invested millions of dollars in thoroughbred bloodstock via his Patinack Farm operation.
The colt has become an instant flagbearer for the Patinack sire Casino Prince and is already a valuable stud commodity in his own right after he claimed the VRC Sires' Produce Stakes over 1400m.
"... hopefully come Saturday we can show everyone what he is all about," Hawkes said.
"It's all about the horse and it's all him and where he goes from there.
"(For now we can) just look forward to Saturday and hope he puts his best foot forward again and show everyone what he did in Melbourne."
