Market Moves Royal Ascot Day 4

Let's look at the major market moves for Day Four at Royal Ascot.

We'll give you a bit of run down as to who is being backed at the time of publication with the TAB.

DAY FOUR – 17 JUNE 2011

Day Three Betting Highlights saw a much better day for the punters and with the favourite winning the big race it only helps as Fame And Glory outstayed them in the 4000m Gold Cup.

Race 1: The Albany Stks (G3)

('10 winner Memory 15-2)

By Dewhurst winning sire Teofilo, the filly Teolane has been dominant in winning her last two. She has rated well and accordingly starts around the $2.40 quote. Possibly one of the only other runners under double figures with a chance is Inetrobil. She bolted in by six in a maiden and is $6 with the TAB. The Exceed And Excel runner Sajwah also took honours on debut and is $9.

Race 2: The King Edward VII Stks (G2)

('10 winner Monterosso 7-2)

The 'Ascot Derby' as it is known will be an interesting contest. The Galileo colt Nathaniel ($3.50) was second in the Chester Vase behind the eventual Derby runner up. He seems to like this trip. Recent 7L winner Mijhaar only comes out of a maiden but he might lead all the way at $5.50. The fascinating runner is World Domination. At $5.50 you need to work out if he has overcome the Dante run. Remember the form was strong in the Derby itself.

Race 3: The Coronation Stks (G1)

('10 winner Lillie Langtry 7-2f)

The major race of the day is the Coronation Stks with plenty given chances. Together has been runner up in both English and Irish 1000 Guineas but the question is whether she is a winner. You can take $5 to find out and that is on the drift. First up winner at York Theyskens' Theory is into $6 and might be value. The Hannon filly Memory won the Albany on this day last year and the inform team find her $7.50 in the market. Maqaasid took out the Queen Mary last year and was placed in the 1000 Guineas so she too could be value at $11.

1.25am AEST

Race 4: The Wolferton Rated Stks (Listed)

('10 winner Rainbow Peak 13-8f)

Green Destiny won easily at Newmarket. He is undoubtedly going to start favourite around the $2.70 quote. One who might come in for some support is the Godolphin runner Lost In The Moment. He is currently $8.50. Another one to note is Spanish Duke ($9) who raced without luck last time after winning beforehand at Epsom.

2.00am AEST

Race 5: The Queen's Vase (G3)

('10 winner Mikhail Glinka 2-1f)

This looks a good betting event. Regent Street comes from Ireland and has all the right form around him. Placed in the Irish Derby Trial and before that behind yesterday's Ribblesdale winner you have to take $3.50. Henry Cecil's Solar Sky ($5) only won a maiden but did it so well and will have supporters. Mark Johnston's Namibian hasn't won for a while but will run the trip right out and is $5.50.

2.35am AEST

Race 6: The Buckingham Palace Stks (Handicap)

('10 winner Treadwell 14-1)

The Buckingham Palace is as open as that venue isn't. Kalk Bay ($8) will be one of those near the top of the boards. If you can ignore last start he might be a show. There is also hopes given to Docofthebay ($8.50) off recent good runs in recent handicaps and Our Jonathan ($8.50) who too hasn't missed a place this prep.
