Godolphin trainer Saeed bin Suroor has nominated the Golden Jubilee Stakes-bound Delegator as his best chance at Royal Ascot this week.
The son of Dansili has always been rated a top class performer since he chased home Sea The Stars in the 2000 Guineas as a three-year-old in 2009.
Dropped to six furlongs for the first time, the five-year-old really impressed on his first start of the year in the Duke Of York Stakes last month and he will bid to open his account in Group One company in the Golden Jubilee on Saturday week.
"I think Delegator is my best chance at Royal Ascot. He's always been a good horse and I definitely believe he's a sprinter," said bin Suroor.
"He did a piece of work on Thursday and it went really well.
"We will have a few runners at the meeting. Rio De La Plata goes for the Queen Anne and Holberg is running in the Gold Cup.
"All the horses are in good form.”
