Just the sole meeting held in Singapore over the weekend with the Dan Meagher trained Webster the clear stand-out performance on Friday night.

An impressive maiden winner two back, Webster took another step forward on Friday night when spacing his rivals in the sixth event.

Ridden by Danny Beasley, Webster was always in firm control, settled second with the Mark Walker trained Bringer Of War taking up the running.

Under a good hold passing the 700m, Webster travelled beautifully on straightening and quickly ambled up to Bringer Of War.

Cut loose inside the 300m, Webster took over and put the race to bed in a few strides.

He left his rivals with no answer, racing away to score eased down by 3.8L.

Having bumped into the very progressive Chopin's Fantaisie on debut, Webster could easily be unbeaten and certainly looks to have a bright future.

Webster improved five pounds on Friday night and again returned time figures ahead of the bare form.

Judging by his performance he should be able to continue his rise through the grades and could be tried over further down the track.

Very few horses (11%) go back to back after breaking their maiden status and given the ease at which Webster did so, he is very promising.

Likely to be given a break following Friday's performance, Webster is certainly one to place in your blackbook as more wins appear in store.

Webster's performance also highlighted the bright prospects of Chopin's Fantaisie who remains unbeaten after three starts.

Chopin's Fantaisie is the only horse to defeat Webster and they both appear three-year-olds worth following.

Super Tycoon

The Ricardo Le Grange trained Super Tycoon finished third behind Webster two back, before breaking through for his maiden win in fine style on Friday night.

Admittedly only a moderate affair (Race 3), however it was hard not to like the way he went about it, saluting by six lengths.

Ridden by Barend Vorster, Super Tycoon clearly relished the step up to 1400m when leading throughout in the maiden event.

Sent around at the prohibitive odds of $1.40, Super Tycoon was never in doubt and returned a new career peak in the process.

In what proved a real sit and sprint, Super Tycoon ripped home recording a close sectional marked 1.5L inside standard — his rivals had no chance.

Transferred to the Le Grange stable (previously trained by Dan Meagher) back in April, Super Tycoon is on an upwards rating spiral and is another worth following.

Of note, on raw times Webster was comparatively marked over 5L superior to Super Tycoon — again highlighting the level of Webster's performance.
