Group 3 WJ Healy Stakes, June 21 - Eagle Farm

Big Money took full advantage of a hot tempo to claim the WJ Healy Stakes at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Adebisi set a suicidal early pace, stretching out the field over plenty of ground.

The winner, Big Money, settled down in seventh position on the outside of the runner up Cape Kidnappers, about eight to ten lengths from the tearaway leader.

Big Money took the home turn four wide and was a long way off the leader, he came with a determined run in the straight to hit the front inside the final 50m to score.

Cape Kidnappers had a similar task to the winner. He finished on gamely to grab second right on the line.

Seeking More chased the early pace racing in third position. He shot clear at the 250 metres, looking the certain winner, only to tire in the final strides to go under narrowly despite a good effort.

Bennetta got a long way out of her ground and came with a big finish late to finish a sound fourth.
