Group 2 Yellowglen Stakes, November 2 - Flemington

Fontelina grabbed back-to-back wins in the Yellowglen Stakes on Saturday.

Fontelina had a nice run in sixth place, behind runners, obtaining a good trail to the 300 metre mark.

He then switched out shortly afterwards, challenged at the 200 metres point and finished too well to score a good win by just over a length in smart time (1:09.01).

Spirit Of Boom was well back in 12th place to 600 metres, he put in a strong run in the centre of the track at 200 metres and then fought gamely for a sound second while Rarefied came from 11th at 600 metres, improved to eighth at the 400 metre marker and battled on nicely for third.

Karacatis was back in 12th spot at the 400 metres point and made ground late for an eye-catching fourth.
