Lonhro Gold looks well placed when he lines up in the Class 4 Non Premier over 1000m on the Polytrack at Kranji tonight.
The Cliff Brown-trained runner has been racing in good form against similar opposition in recent times and comes off a second placing over this C/D last time out after jumping from a wide barrier.
The four-year-old gelding has drawn the inside barrier today and Michael Rodd who stays on board should push forward to lead once again.
Despite having just the one win to his name Lonhro Gold is racing in career best form at the moment and if he can run up to his last start effort he will be too good for these today.
Taro San was disappointing last start in a Novice over 1200m but form prior to that was good and he should appreciate the drop to 1000m.
From four runs in Singapore now he has placed in three of them although there is a slight concern about how he handled the Polytrack based off his last start effort.
Taro San has since finished runner up in a barrier trial over 1000m and if he can turn things around from last start he certainly looks a chance in this company today.
Dash comes into the race third up, resuming with a win over this C/D before running a solid fourth in the same race as Lonhro Gold last start.
Both previous wins have come over the 1000m trip and from barrier 3 today he should find a very nice spot just off the leaders.
Dash has certainly come back in very good order this campaign and based on his last two starts looms as a big danger to Lonhro Gold.
Cerdan resumes in easier company today off a modest effort prior to a spell and should also appreciate getting back on the Polytrack.
Not the best record when fresh previously and will improve on whatever he does today but would not be surprised to see him in the finish.
Good luck!
