Not an easy race day on the Parks track with our best a horse who was a bit stiff last start at Geelong and has been previously too.
Tamasa now steps up a little in ground and importantly draws away from the inside where he half missed away and got too far back last run.
By So You Think, he is well placed at the weights and was thought of well enough to run in a Listed Race at the end of the last Flemington Spring Carnival.
He absolutely should have bolted in when stuck in between horses and was hard held to the line.
He’s certainly not meeting any stars today.
Can easily see improvement in the import Al Haram who finally gets to a much more suitable journey.
He’s been in two races too short of his best and track patterns have not helped either.
A mile and a half is more his go and his breeding only emphasises that. They will probably back a few in the race and we should end up with decent odds.
From a soft gate and with a top jockey, the Lindsay Park gelding can jump out of the ground.
