Yulong Xiongyin looks well placed again when he lines up in the Class 3 over 1000m on the Polytrack at Kranji on Sunday.
The former UK trained runner was good in his Singapore debut, resuming with a win in a Class 4, before finishing runner up to River Golden last start over 1200m in a Class 3 on the turf.
Yulong Xiongyin has since finished third in a barrier trial over 1000m and getting back on the polytrack and back to the 1000m trip looks well suited.
From barrier six, Yulong Xiongyin should push forward once again to settle on the speed and if he runs up to his last two efforts he will be very hard to hold out against these.
Lightly raced with just the four starts to his name this shapes up as a very nice race for the horse and Benny Woodworth who has ridden the horse in both Singapore starts remains on board.
Expect Yulong Xiongyin to eventually make his way into some stakes races and he should have the quality to prove too good for his rivals today.
Lord O’Reilly will relish the drop in grade today after not having a great deal of luck in the Singapore Guineas last start.
Drops back from the mile to 1000m for this off a slight freshen up and did win the recent trial that Yulong Xiongyin finished third.
Yet to run over the 1000m trip but has won over the 1200m previously and his recent form in group company indicates he is capable of a strong showing in a Class 3.
Needs a bit of luck from the wide draw but if he gets it he will be getting to the line very strongly over the concluding stages.
Most Favorite comes into the race off a last start win in a Class 4 Premier over this C/D and he has drawn favourably in barrier 4 again today.
Form prior to that was somewhat mixed but he looks a better horse on the polytrack and would not be surprised to see him in the finish today.
Charger comes off a good run for second over 1100m in a Class 3 last start just one length from the winner Filibuster.
Must be respected on the back of that run and would not be surprised to see him right in the mix again today.
Good luck!
