Justice Glory Well Placed On Singapore Debut

Justice Glory will step out for her Singapore debut when he lines up in the Perth Racing Trophy Class 3 (1200m) at Kranji today.

The former Australian runner now with the Mark Walker stable has been good in two recent trials over 1000m, running third on both occasions.

The three-year-old filly brings some decent form with her for a race like this and she rates clear of her rivals on her best.

Last seen when midfield in a Benchmark 70 over 1600m at Sandown, Justice Glory should have no issues with the 1200m trip today, her two previous wins coming over 1200m and 1300m.

Alysha Collett goes on board today and from barrier 3 would expect her to have Justice Glory settling off the leaders in what should be a fairly genuine tempo.

This certainly shapes up as a nice race for the daughter of Fastnet Rock to kick off her Singapore career and she will prove very hard to beat.

Dutrow has come back in very good order this campaign, resuming with a third placing before scoring a narrow win in a Class 3 over 1200m on the Polytrack last start.

Dutrow goes back on to the turf track today where he has had just the one start since coming to Singapore, well beaten in a Class 4 on that occasion.

Rarely out of the finish, the Shane Baertschiger-trained runner certainly has the ability but will need a fair bit of luck from the wide draw and I am not sure how strong he will be on the turf track.

Dutrow also goes up in the weights on his last start effort, taking on similar company today but he still measures up pretty well against his rivals and should be in the mix.

First Choice is another that brings very good form with him into this race, featuring in the placings his last three outings which includes a win in a Class 3 over 1000m two starts back on the polytrack.

The three-year-old gelding is another who is much better suited on the polytrack and the 1200m just about sees him out but he rates very well on recent efforts and should roll forward from the handy draw and take plenty of running down.

Cerdan rounds out the main chances on the back of two handy wins, the most recent by just under a length in a Class 4 Non Premier on the turf.

Stays over the 1200m trip for this and based on his last couple of outings is likely to play a big part today.

Good luck!
