Viviano will look to build on his strong recent form when he lines up in the Kranji Stakes B (1400m) in Singapore on Friday night.

The Mark Walker-trained runner has been knocking on the door in recent times and despite a long time between wins he finds himself in a very winnable race back slightly in class.

The six-year-old gelding produced a good effort to finish runner up behind Preditor in a Kranji Stakes A last start and has placed in all five outings this campaign.

Viviano comes up against a fairly modest bunch here and despite drawing wide in barrier 11 expect jockey Vlad Duric to push forward and settle on the speed like he did two runs back over 1400m in a Kranji Stakes B.

Certainly comes into this race with the best form of any of these and despite almost a year between wins this certainly looks a race that he can return to the winners circle and he has the current form on the board.

Chalaza comes through the same race as Viviano but had no luck on that occasion caught three wide with no cover finishing tenth, five lengths off the winner.

Form prior to that was handy however, winning a Class 2 three runs back before running on well for third in the same Kranji Stakes B Viviano finished runner up in.

The Steve Burridge-trained runner has a handy career record although drawn a touch awkward in barrier 8 again today will need a bit of luck in running.

Has not quite been running up to the same Timeform figures Viviano has in recent times but gets the weight swing and shapes up as the main danger.

Dicton is an interesting runner who was disappointing in his Singapore debut in the same Kranji Stakes B as the other two runners last start.

Has trialled well enough twice since that occasion and rates very well against his rivals today on his previous French form in Group company.

Has been some two years since his last victory which came in a Group 3 over the mile at Chantilly, and his form since that occasion has been solid enough for a race like this.

Certainly worth another chance today off his most recent trail when runner up over 1000m last week and would keep a keen eye on the betting moves here.

Shoqeet rounds out the main chances resuming off some very handy form last campaign and lightly raced is open to further improvement.

Last seen when running third in a Class 3 over 1800m and despite being better suited over more ground he will be running on well late and could pop up in the placings.
