Morphettville hosts a Listed race on Saturday with the running of the City Of Marion Stakes but we’ll avoid that very hard race for our picks.

You have to love the way Held Hostage has returned to the track.
Much better known for her 2000m form, she was solid first up then thrashed a mile line up when sitting on the pace.
Now she arrives at the distance from when she last ran an excellent second in the Centaurea Stakes behind good mare Let’s Make Adeal.
Just hard to see her not winning notwithstanding having to give weight to the rest of them.
Onto the second where the Darren Weir trained Tintaglia ventures west hoping for a metropolitan win.
She has only won the one race which was on debut but has been running some good races this time in through the Spring when the depth is there.
She closed off very strongly at Kilmore last start and has quite versatile race patterns depending on the speed.
The mare just needs a track on the firmer side to go close.
