Aerobar heads north for Gerald Ryan and will line up in the opening race on the program at Doomben on Saturday.
The three-year-old filly has been racing well in Sydney of late, placing in two of her three runs this campaign at Rosehill Gardens and rates well against these.
Stays over the 1200m today and local jockey Ryan Wiggins takes the ride for the first time.
Would expect Aerobar to go forward and settle on the speed from barrier 9 and if she can run up to anything near her best form she will prove too good for these.
Lesley’s Choice could well start favourite after a dominant win at Ipswich last start but this shapes up as a much tougher task and at the odds would be happy to take Aerobar at $3.80.
The daughter of Flying Spur rates well on weight adjusted ratings and looks well placed to get punters off to a winning start in the opening race.
Later in the day Kobi Creek (Race 3 #2) will look to continue his consistent form and looks a very good each way bet.
The Mark Palmer-trained runner has been racing in good form of late, featuring in the placings his last seven outings and comes into this off a narrow second at this C/D last time out.
Jim Byrne sticks with the four-year-old gelding today and he finds himself slightly back in class today.
Has not drawn the best in barrier 11 but there looks to be a fair bit of speed engaged and with his current record the $6 on offer shapes up as a good each way bet.
Proven over the 2200m, Kobi Creek is yet to miss the placings from six outings at the trip with the likely favourite More Energy stepping up from 1600m and is yet to race over 2200m.
Hard to see Kobi Creek not featuring in the placings and he looks very well placed in this company.
Last week saw the bet of the day Glenbawn Dame finish second at Sunshine Coast whilst the each way play Murt The Flirt was scratched.
Good Luck!
