We found one at odds last week as our each way play which was nice in the shape of Lucky Lucky Lucky. Let’s hope for another one this time.

On the Morphettville Parks track again this week and in a nice 3yo contest happy to think Samartested can get back into the winner’s stall.

The half-sister to Samaready ran an excellent race first up at Flemington when not beaten far down the straight. Then she went to Sandown on Australia Day and didn’t have best luck when well fancied.

She won third up last time in, will run the 1300m out no issue and from this gate can be put anywhere desired.

On Handicapper Ratings she has many points on them. The race sets up perfectly for her and had been an acceptor for Sandown as well but they’ve chosen to run here.

Hereford looms as an each way play this week.

He is so consistent, puts himself into every race and if he’s good enough he wins on occasions.

Was only a head away from scoring last week after staving off all bar the late swooper. Drops in weight after the claim when up in class but there are a few non-winners at the top so maybe that is a false scale.

At the price on offer, he could easily run at place at worse and we make a profit.
