After scratchings, last week we were left without much value and only one runner. In the end we went under by a head.

We are at the Morphettville main track this week for a day of small fields.

Streetcar Valour resumes off the inside gate with a 3kg claim for Josh Cartwright.

He has an excellent first up record including a win and three placings. He should be able to land behind the leader off the draw.

This is a BM82 and he hasn’t been in a race of this standard for 12 months. Running favourite in a BM90 back in April, he ran into Mighty Like and we saw what it did just last week at Ballarat.

The last run before a break was in a G3 mile so happy to ignore that. Great price each way.

In Race 7, Raks McLaren has her first run since September.

She has had a couple of runs this time in and carried a bit more weight in mares races before trialling nicely. The resuming run in August was against some nice horses.

Her last win was this course and distance just four runs ago.

Expecting there to be money for many runners in this field, especially with so many first uppers. Value odds look in order for her.

Brave Journey is a big danger no doubt but she will run well.
