Baligari returns home after a trip to Flemington on Cup day where he was not too far away in a big field.
He’s never missed a placing in four runs here including a win in a BM72 on a slow track.
That was fourth up on the Parks track and this race sets up nicely.
Suspect he is ready now for the near mile distance and gets a lovely run off an inside draw to sit just off the pace.
Robbie Laing’s horses have been running quite well in Victoria without winning and has sent Rowland over to Adelaide to find a winnable race.
He’s been running around Moonee Valley quite regularly and I don’t think has gotten around the tight track.
Better suited to the bigger circuit, he is desperate for that and also some string out of the ground which looks possible. He is bred to love that out of a Sadler’s Wells mare.
On a slow track at Caulfield back in July he bolted in over this distance.
