Disappointing fields for Adelaide on Saturday but hardly surprising given the amount of racing in Cup week.

Tony McEvoy brings a horse from his NSW base to Adelaide and has been trialling really well.

You Are My World was well backed a couple of times in races over East and just didn’t have things go her way.

Her form from back in France where she originated was on rain affected going and anything like a Dead track or worse would be to her benefit.

She may well be a happier horse in this new environment as well.

Race 7 sees a 4yo who was only a nose away from winning last start go around. Meadows Angel sat right on the speed after drawing wide and got so close on the line.

He showed the benefit of getting out to the 1400m and suspect that is what he needed.

Last time in he was spruiked a couple of times in harder races and to prove the previous point, his two wins come at that distance. Looks a value runner.

So on a hard day with small fields, hope you can find some luck.
