Sea Red has returned to racing in very good order and should prove hard to hold out at Doomben on Saturday.
The Robert Heathcote-trained runner (Race 3 #6) returned with two very good wins before running third in a handy race at the Gold Coast last start.
Apprentice jockey Bridget Grylls goes back on having won two from two on board the four-year-old mare, and with only 53.5kg to carry will be very hard to hold out.
Dropping back to the 1640m should suit and she has a very good record at Doomben, having won three of her five starts.
The daughter of Sebring has not put a foot wrong this campaign and all she has to do is hold her recent form and she should prove too good for these.
The in form Busselton looks the main danger along with last start winner Vaz De Torres.
Later in the day Tahoe City (Race 5 #9) will look to continue his good recent form having won two of four this campaign, placing on the other two occasions.
Takes on tougher company today but rates very well in this company and leading jockey Chris Munce stays on board having won 2 from 2.
Stays over a similar trip today and the current price of $7.50 looks very good based on what he has produced in recent times.
Abaddon certainly looks the one to beat however the current price of $2.80 looks big unders in this and there is not much between him and Tahoe City.
Last week saw our bet of the day You Did What finish third with the each way play Jet Down On It disappointing when well beaten however we are still well ahead over the past six weeks.
