All signs point to Catkins continuing on her winning ways second up in the Group 3 Wiggle Stakes at Warwick Farm.

The Chris Waller-trained mare last start posted a dogged win in the Group 2 Breeders Classic (1200m) and now meets a couple of the same rivals at Warwick Farm on Saturday.

Two key form lines greet punters in the Group 3 Wiggle Stakes with the bulk of the field contesting the event either coming out of the Breeders Classic or the Triscay Stakes.

Catkins first up success against the likes of Steps In Time, White Sage and Streama looks particularly strong though and should take plenty of improvement from the run.

Her effort yielded a Timeform figure of 115, just one pound shy of a master rating achieved when narrowly denied a Group 1 success by stablemate Red Tracer in the Myer Classic last spring.

It suggests the Dubawi mare is in store for an excellent autumn campaign and Saturday’s Group 3 Wiggle Stakes looks the perfect stepping stone toward her next tilt at Group 1 success, likely being the Coolmore Classic (1500m) on March 22.

As well as anticipated improvement with added fitness second up, Catkins also has the track, distance and wet track credentials to suggest she will build upon the effort with a second straight win.

Catkins rates four pounds clear of her nearest rival on 50 day weight adjusted Timeform ratings and should take a power of beating.

Terravista’s first up win in the Southern Cross Stakes was top shelf and believe he can go on with the job in the Group 3 Liverpool City Cup (1300m).

The Joe Pride-trained galloper showed an exciting turn of foot surging to the front 200m out and got home well.

The win was assessed at 109p, a clear peak Timeform figure for the gelding.

Like Catkins, Terravista should be open to further improvement second run from a spell.

He has won second up previously and at the track and while yet to race on rain affected ground, Terravista’s half brother and stablemate Tiger Tees relishes it.

White Sage and El Roca are currently battling it out for favouritism but just underneath them at the $4.60 quote, Terravista might be the play in the Liverpool City Cup (1300m).

Terravista’s stablemate That’s A Good Idea ran fourth in the Southern Cross Stakes and now drops back in class and trip for the Ibis Milano Dinner Special Benchmark 95 (1100m).

That appears to suit as do the blinkers being applied however there are queries about the gelding.

In four starts on tracks worse than good, That’s A Good Idea possesses only one minor placing and Saturday’s Warwick Farm meeting is largely expected to be conducted on slow.

Seeing the Glue On Shoes applied at the start of this campaign doesn’t inspire confidence either.

There appears to be plenty of speed in the event outside of That’s A Good Idea including Hurrara and Oh George meaning the Flying Spur gelding won’t get it all his own way up front.
