ROSEHILL SATURDAY

RACE 4 (10) ANY DAY WILL DO: Yet another talented mare responding well to Guy Walter’s patient handling. Went for a short spell in November in strong winning form and has shown in two 1200m starts since resuming that she can go on with it through the autumn. Primed for the step up to 1400m, having followed her excellent first-up effort under unsuitable wfa conditions in the G2 Expressway Stakes with a closing third in the G3 Triscay Stakes. She boasts impressive track and distance stats and her good barrier draw on her home makes her a worthy gamble under these conditions at value odds.

RACE 5 (1) IT'S A DUNDEEL: He’s back and ready to stake his claim to being Australasia’s premier weight-for-age performer. The five-time G1 winner has been at Warwick Farm – where he is a winner of his only start - for a month preparing for his return and his trial win at Randwick was confirmation that he is in the right form. He’s a proven fresh performer, winning twice from four first-up attempts, and at this stage of his career 1600m first-up under wfa conditions should not be an issue for him, especially against a field that is void of another wfa winner.

RACE 8 (5) ENTIREY PLATINUM: Imposing individual who made an impressive return when he took command of a 1400m event on a heavy track at this course on February 19 to win by a dominant three lengths carrying 59kg. The rise in class is countered by a 3kg drop in weight and he appeals as the type who can climb quickly through the ranks, having laid a good foundation with some strong form earlier in the season up to 2000m. The mile looks ideal for him second up as will sit hard on the pace from a good draw.
