The Richard Hannon-trained Rosallion will face five rivals as he bids to claim a fourth top-level victory in the Group 1 Qatar Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on Wednesday.

Paddy Power make Rosallion their 5/6 market leader to confirm St James's Palace Stakes placings with Aidan O'Brien's Henry Longfellow, who is a general 4/1 chance to reverse the form of their Royal Ascot clash last month.

Rosallion finished behind the reopposing Notable Speech (7/2) in the 2000 Guineas on his seasonal reappearance and bookmakers see Charlie Appleby's colt as his biggest danger, despite the fact he arrives after a disappointing seventh-place finish in the previously-mentioned Royal Ascot Group 1 last month.

France enjoyed top-level success when Goliath produced a mammoth performance in the King George last weekend and trainer Jerome Reynier will be hoping his stable star Facteur Cheval can provide them with further glory. Last year's runner-up won the Group 1 Dubai Turf earlier in the season before finishing behind the reopposing Maljoom in the Queen Anne Stakes last time. William Haggas' contender has endured an interrupted career this far and will sport first-time blinkers at Goodwood on Wednesday.

Ralph Beckett's Sonny Liston completes the sextet.
