After getting off the mark quickly to begin proceedings last weekend, the team were unable to convert their hot start and instead were left thinking what could've been.

But as always, the show must go on and with The Gun getting struck down by Covid, Trent 'King' Crebbin and Ethan 'The Dispenser' Perry team up to create a multi that should fill the punter's pockets.

Let's get into it.

Morphettville Race 1 Number 3 EROS – Win ($3.90, Ladbrokes)

This promising colt from the Anthony & Sam Freedman stable ran into two above average ones in his debut campaign - starting favourite on both occasions. He returned in nice enough order when dismissed by a lip at Sale and now heads to SA with T Pannell to ride. Untested on a wet track but we think he should be too hard to hold out.

Caulfield Race 2 Number 3 GHAANATIWin ($1.85)

Dominant win in very quick time on debut down the straight, beating two handy fillies. Looks group class, just needs to hold that level from a soft gate to be winning again.

Eagle Farm Race 3 Number 1 OUR INTRIGUEWin ($1.60)

She has been ticking along nicely since racing in QLD with top 4 finishes in her last four efforts - narrowly edged out last weekend in the Ipswich Cup. On the quick back-up, W Pike on and is drawn to get the gun run. Everything points towards a bold showing.

Caulfield Race 3 Number 5 DUCHESS OF DORSETPlace ($1.85)

Talented mare with upside who hasn't quite hit her straps this time in but looks set to peak out to 1100m with a soft draw to stalk the leaders who may be suspect late.

Combine these and we get a mouth-watering $21.35 with Ladbrokes (Thursday 3PM AEST).
