Comfortable watch: "She's been running so well this girl, but just getting too fat back. We put the blinkers on and we made a little change. I said to Harry to be the boss and be in charge of her and put her right into the race and she got the job done. She's a very fit filly and toughed it out very well."
The blinkers: "She's a good filly and I thought the blinkers would just make her a little bit better and her race shape. That's the important thing. I'm not sure she'll be sitting outside the lead too much in the future, but with this rain around I think it suited today."
Winning Jockey: Harry Coffey
Travelling up three wide: "I didn't want Deano (Yendall) getting too far away from me. He gets away from you and you never catch him. I had the two best chances in front of me, Jamie (Kah) and Dean, but very good riders at assessing tempo. I just stalked them and gave her clear air and was able to get into her and we weren't left behind in her flat spot. The biggest thing was she responded well in the blinkers today. The big thing was I had the horse underneath me today whereas at stages in her races she has been getting lost, albeit up in grade. She's won again at Ballarat. She loves it here and it will be great for her confidence.
"I truly believe next preparation she will be a lot better filly. She's won three races in her first prep, so she's already done plenty."
