2019 TULLOCH STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Not a lot of depth to this year's Tulloch Stakes with the leading market hopes tipped to fight out the finish. In the small field expect only a moderate tempo.
MADISON COUNTY (1) caught the eye late behind The Autumn Sun in the Randwick Guineas last start and clearly has a class edge over his rivals. Missed the Rosehill Guineas after suffering multiple lacerations en-route to the track last week and it may prove a blessing in disguise. On trial at the trip, but hard to see this being a true staying test and he should prove hard to beat.
PLATINUM INVADOR (3) finished third in the NZ Derby last start and only has to reproduce that level of performance to be right in the finish again. COSSETOT (4) continues to race well and has to be included in the main chances, while IN A TWINKLING (2) also holds claims.
