2019 RANDWICK GUINEAS – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Another key highlight with this year's Group 1 Randwick Guineas. Not a great deal of speed on paper, but they still should roll along.

THE AUTUMN SUN did just enough to win first up and now appears poised to notch up his fourth Group 1 success. Unsuited by the moderate tempo in the Hobartville, he did a great job to run down Vegadaze and he should improve sharply stepping up to the mile.

Rated 126 by Timeform following his dominant display in the Caulfield Guineas, he has a fair bit of room to move on his first up display, rated 119. Will likely get back, but should prove very strong late.

Surround Stakes winner NAKEETA JANE creates plenty of interest on the quick back up. A bit to find to beat TAS, but could catch him on the hop. ARAMAYO sets up well back in trip and appears the next in line.
