Clarry Conners stable stars Satin Shoes and Decision Time have each won their 800m trials at Warwick Farm on Tuesday morning.
18 heats were conducted at Warwick Farm this morning with notable entries among others the Clarry Conners-trained duo of Satin Shoes and Decision Time.
Each claimed wins in their respective 800m Open Trials.
Satin Shoes holds a nomination for the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Flemington on March 9 while autumn plans at this stage have not been confirmed for Decision Time.
Originally down to resume at Rosehill last Saturday, wet weather postponed Rebel Dane’s anticipated return and instead trialled this morning in the opening heat.
Gary Portelli’s stable star won his 1200m Open Trial and is now expected to resume in the Group 2 Royal Sovereign Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on Saturday week.
Rebel Dane ran ahead of Havana Rey who is nominated for the Cabramatta Mile at Warwick Farm on Saturday.
The unbeaten three-year-old was one of five trial winners Portelli saddled up throughout the morning with others including a trio of two-year-olds.
All My Loving, Loutrel and All The Talk won their respective heats over 800m with the latter running the slickest time of 47.3 on the slow surface.
The fastest two-year-old heat of the morning belonged to the Bjorn Baker-trained Hanwritten.
Guy Walter put a number of runners through their paces, namely dual Group 1 winner Streama.
The mare ran third in her 800m heat behind the Joe Pride-trained duo of Let’s Rock’n’roll and Upshot.
Streama’s first up outing is expected to resume at Warwick Farm on February 23 as she heads toward the Group 1 Doncaster Mile at Randwick.
The next set of Sydney trials scheduled is at Rosehill tomorrow with the first heat at 8:15am to feature 2012 Triple Crown-winner Pierro.
