Summary: It's no longer a handicap but this year's Goodwood has the feel of one from back in the day with a huge array of chances with precious little between them on adjusted figures. Eclair Big Bang's Guineas Prelude would have seen him take top billing on the numbers but he’s now out. Driefontein's Sangster win, over last year’s Goodwood winner Platelet, sees her making plenty of appeal, as does the good last start win of Essay Raider, while Gregers should have more to give.
