NEW SOUTH WALES

SR 2: Early players have been all over (3) DANCES ON STARS as he seems yet another natural runner by Snitzel in the Gerald Ryan stable judging by his impressive Rosehill trial win over 900m on 11 October. But take note that the well bred (11) REPORT finished second in a faster heat on the same day. Gonski filly (8) KYOTO looked well prepared winning a 900m heat in heavy ground at Rosehill on 29 September while Warwick Farm trial winner (5) MANDALONG COURT has had extra week after being scratched from last Saturday's Randwick meeting. The filly (9) MEIDUNG is a Bernadini filly open to improvement on her 740m trial placing at Randwick on 7 October.

SR 5-3 MAGIC WEEKEND (Hawkes Partnership): Interesting prep to be having his first crack at 1500m off a break of 35 days but countered by an unextended effort in an 800m trial at Warwick Farm last Friday.

SR 6: Class act (2) SKILLED had plenty to offer finishing third behind race rival (5) SCOUTING WIDE when they met in a 1030m hear at Rosehill on 11 October. Both have done enough to suggest they can perform well first-up. (13) YULALONA also looked in good shape for his return when a close second in an 800m heat in heavy going at Warwick Farm on 4 October. (3) LEICA LARRIKIN has given the Les Bridge stable problems but there were encouraging signs in his 1200m heat win at the Randwick trials on 7 October.

SR 8: Plenty of interest in the promising (16) TORINO first-up off a very competitive third against Group One winner Ortensia in a 900m trial at Rosehill on 11 October. (12) TRILIONE also comes under notice after trialling well against classy stablemate Neeson over 800m at Warwick Farm last Friday.

VICTORIA

MR 1-13 KAZANJIAN (David Hayes): Red Ransom filly who was second in a Cranbourne trial a month back. The time given off after that is interesting but the wide draw no help.

MR 3-3 GRAND BRITANNIA (Robbie Laing): After trialling well back in August and then running a cracker in the Vain behind Sepoy and Golden Archer, things went awry. He's since won a trial at Cranbourne making you think he's turned it around.

QUEENSLAND

BR 5-7 GIRL HUSSLER (Toby Edmonds): In her first prep to start with in Queensland she has won two trials at Gold Coast and Deagon and she does have good Listed race form so big watch.

BR 8-1 FAVELA STAR (Liam Birchley): Loves to charge along early in a prep and looks to do the same again here. Goes best on tracks with give too so this might advantage him.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

AR 9-13JEST FOR FUN (Jon O'Connor): Won a Gawler trial pretty easily on 10 October. While considering he's a 9yo, his fresh form holds firm recently.

SA TRIALLERS RACING INTERSTATE:

MR 1-8 SWIPELINE (Tony McEvoy): After impressively winning the Debutants Stks last week, Tony McEvoy brings another 2yo east after he had won his last Gawler Trial.
