There will be all sorts of excitements and happenings at Sha Tin to see the new racing year off to a good start.

Race 3 is Class 1 the Chief Executive's Cup over 1200m with 10 runners.  We liked Beauty Waves for this especially earlier in the week when he was on 8/1 but now closed in to 3/1 for Pierre Ng and Alexis Badel.  Topping the market is Ka Ying Rising on 1.9 for David Hayes and Zac Purton and Flying Ace is expected to do well and is on 9.8 for Hall-Bowman.

Race 7 is Class 2 the Tai Mo Shan over 1400m with 8 runners.  The top three in the market are pretty close and it go to any one of them without causing a major shock.  Karma is on 4.0 for Fownes-Ho, Chiu Chow Spirit on 4.5 Man-Badel and Supreme Lucky 4.7 for Shum-Bowman.
