This G1 is open to 3yo colts and fillies and is over 1400m

It's seen as a chance for the 3yos to get a G1 into their CVs before they have to compete with the older horses.  12 of them are entered and the ground may well be on the soft side as it's turned cold and wet in northern Europe in the last few days and Deaville's weather says possible storms and gentle breezes.

The race itself is very interesting with a lot of attention being paid to Kikkuli, Frankel's little brother, who impressed when running second to Hataam in the Jersey at Royal Ascot.  His owners Juddmonte have put in a pacemaker for him from Andre Fabre's yard while Kikkuli himself is trained by Harry Charlton who has booked Ryan Moore for the ride.  Current quote is around 9/2.

Godolphin's Romantic Style has won a G3 over this c&d and is from the Appleby-Buick team who had a good day yesterday at Belmont in the US.  She's by Night of Thunder, has the fillies' weight advantage and is on 7/2.  William Buick will be coming off another red-eye but seems to be able to cope.

Devil's Point is trained by David Menuisier who has no inhibitions about traveling his horses and Devil's Point has raced on this track already and more recently won the German 2000 Guineas.  They are on 15/2.
