A slight won I the G3 but a big one in the Lockinge.
The G3 Aston Park saw Middle Earth get the better of Godolphin's King of Conquest in a close finish with Cemhaan 28/1 third for Beckett-Cosgrave. Desert Hero went off as favourite but did not produce one of his better runs and ended up in fifth.
The Lockinge went to Audience for the Gosdens with Robert Havlin riding who started on 22/1 and then went on to win by 1 ¾ lengths from Charyn with Witch Hunter 22/1 third. Inspiral was not inspiring in fourth and Big Rock was more a pebble.
