So You Think so sad

He tried hard in the Prince of Wales but the die was cast from the get-go when Jan Vermeer, the intended pacemaker, blew the start and Plan A went out the window.

UK!

He did not look like the So You Think we know as he pulled hard, and to add insult to injury Jan

Vermeer gave him a solid bump as he tried to get to the front. Certainly So You Think had pulled hard

in the Melbourne Cup but surely they were aware of that? Anyhow Frankie Dettori rode a huge race on

Rewilding to take the honours, with Sri Putra the best of the rest in third.

At the start of the afternoon the Richards (Hannon x2 and Hughes x1) claimed the Jersey Stakes with

Strong Suit, with Choisir's son Codemaster second and our roughie Western Aristocrat third.

Then Lolly for Dolly was lolly for us as well in the Windsor Forest, with Chachamaidee second and First

City third.

It is looking very much now as if there is a bias towards high numbers in these big sprints and that

proved to be the case in the Royal Hunt where the victory went to Juliens, followed home by Dance and

Dance, Invisible Man, Pendragon and Eton Forever.

The Richards rounded off the group races with a win in the Queen Mary with Best Terms who went off

at 12/1. It was a tight finish with fav Shumoos a short head away and outsider Caledonian Lady a head

away in third at 100/1.
