He was able to keep favourite Content boxed in and by the time Content and Ryan Moore could get out it was too late.  You Got To Me is a daughter of Nathaniel and went off at 15/2.  Third home was Purple Lily who came down the outside in a nice run.  Less said about Port Fairy the better!

Believing is a good mare and won the Sapphire G2 by 1 ¾ lengths to Beautiful Diamond 5/1 and our tip Makarova third after being blocked a couple of times and in the worst of the traffic.

The Curragh Cup may have earned Tower of London a trip to Melbourne as he managed to beat unfancied stablemate Grosvenor Square and then it was 7 lengths back to Vauban so one wonders if his Melbourne trip is still on.

On Sunday the Anglesey G3 for the babies saw a very nice win from Babouche 13/8 Lyons-Keane and earn her an entry into the little lack book.  Camile Pisarro was a respectable second and California Dreamer third so top three finished in market order!

The Minstrel saw Poet Master 7/2 win for the in-form duo of Karl Burke and Stan James with Lord Massusus second and favourite Mutasurref third.  Mountain Bear ran a shocker.

The Meadow Court went to Royal Dress at 16/1 who stormed clear at about the 200m and put the rest of the race to bed.  James Tate and Ben Coen the responsible adults.

Second was American Sonja but the race finished up with only 5 runners and the 1800m was a bit too far for Jackie Oh.
