The card contains two interesting group races.

There's the G3 Prix de Lieurey over 1600m for the 3yo fillies with 12 going to post.  It's pretty open so the pin has landed on Rose Bloom from Christophe Clement's yard with Pasquier riding and they are on 7/1.  If you ignore Louise Proctor's last run she had an unblemished record before that and 6/1 could be value.  Rouget-Mendizabel.  Also on that quote the Boughey-Buick filly Soprano has shown a touch of class and could well justify the journey.

The Prix Guillaume d'Ornano is G2 for the 3yo and will be over 2000m on the round course.  J-C Rouget saddles 3 of the 7 runners but they are at the higher end of the market.

On top on evens is Economics for Haggas-Marquand making his reappearance here for his first start since winning the Dante.  We think he's a good thing although we don't like the price.  Bright Picture is on 3/1 for Fabre-Guyon and he's won 4 from 5 including a G2 in his latest run. 

Weather in Deauville is forecast for partly cloudy and a top of 24 so should be pleasant for racing.  The track will be on the fast side.
