Fozzy Stack unfazed by Leopardstown skirmish with Onenightidreamed

Fozzy Stack has no worries about Onenightidreamed handling the testing conditions in the Heritage Stakes at Leopardstown on Wednesday.

With much of Britain and Ireland reeling from incessant downpours, only real mudlarks need apply for the Listed prize.

Onenightidreamed made his usual return to action in the Irish Lincolnshire, a race he won in 2015, and finished a fine fifth under a big weight.

"He ran his race in the Lincolnshire but he usually improves for his first run," said Stack.

"He just got a bit tired close home and he's getting a bit harder to get fit at home the older he is getting.

"I think he'll improve for the run and while he's not getting any younger, he will like the conditions.

"There's not much between a few of them. We're a fair bit better off with Pincheck, who was just in front of us in the Lincolnshire.

"I hope it's on, but I've heard it will be just about as heavy as it gets."

Jer's Girl is back on the Flat after a respectable run at the Cheltenham Festival.

Gavin Cromwell's six-year-old finished fifth behind Benie Des Dieux in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle.

Jer's Girl will be ridden by Seamie Heffernan and faces just three rivals in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Race over a mile and three-quarters.

"This just looks a nice opportunity for her," said Cromwell.

"She may still go to Punchestown also. It's three weeks away yet so we've got time."

Reflecting upon her Cheltenham run, Cromwell said: "She probably needs a bit more of a trip, and there's a chance she's not quite a Grade One horse any more.

"I still think there's a chance she'll go to Punchestown, though. We might give her one last chance at that level."
