True Story has the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown on Saturday week as his next objective after being taken out of the Irish Derby at the declaration stage.
Trainer Saeed bin Suroor feels 10 furlongs at Sandown will be ideal for his charge and with rain forecast for the Curragh before the Derby, he thinks True Story has more chance of getting his preferred fast ground next weekend.
Bin Suroor also confirmed the Feilden Stakes winner will run in a visor.
"He's not going to Ireland, he's going for the Eclipse," said the Godolphin trainer.
"I think the 10 furlongs will suit him and they are forecast rain in Ireland so he wouldn't get his ground.
"The Eclipse will be fine for him and he's going to run in a visor for the first time.
"We worked him in one and he worked better in one, so we'll try that.
"Sandown will suit him very well I think."
