A total of 15 horses have been entered for the £150,000 Tattersalls Millions Sprint over six furlongs on Newmarket's Rowley Mile on Wednesday.
They include Samitar, winner of the £300,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Fillies' Trophy in October last year and currently as short as 16-1 for next month's 1000 Guineas.
The filly, who was also second in the G1 Fillies' Mile behind Lyric Of Light, is trained by Mick Channon.
“She is in good form and has wintered well. We decided to come to the Tattersalls Millions Sprint as a prep race for the 1000 Guineas." Channon said.
Another interesting contender in the race is Sir Alex Ferguson's Balty Boys, who finished a close fourth in the G1 Middle Park Stakes at the end of last season for trainer Charlie Hills.
Others to note are Muarrab and Valbchek, who both won maidens earlier this month for Ed Dunlop and Jeremy Noseda and the well regarded Solar Deity, trained by Marco Botti.
Solar Deity is owned by Andrew Tinkler, who enjoyed great success last year in the Tattersalls Millions race series with Tell Dad, who won the £200,000 Tattersalls Millions Median Auction Trophy and was second behind Coupe De Ville in the £500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy.
